Dublin Marathon organisers announce exciting update around TV coverage
Organizers of the Irish Life Dublin Marathon announced that next month’s sold-out race will be broadcast live and free-to-air on TG4, starting at 8am on Sunday, October 25. The event’s action will also be available worldwide through the TG4 Player. The 45th staging will feature 22,500 runners tackling the 26.2-mile course. Gráinne McElwain will present with Rory Chesser and Mary Cullen, while commentary will be provided by Ronan Duggan and Olympian Michelle Finn. Dublin Marathon Group CEO Seán Ó Ríain said free-to-air remains a key goal, and that the organization is investing in the experience for runners and the community. The update also revisits David McGlynn’s breakout last year, including his PB of 2:10:59 and his experience of support in Dublin and Waterford.
