At the event, Fury revisited past sparring, saying he sparred Joshua for “three, four rounds” before Joshua exited and that he later left with a Rolex watch after making a wager. Joshua responded that Fury also claimed a black eye from the session, stressing that sparring stories stay in the gym and that the only focus now is fight night. Fury also acknowledged Joshua’s rise, calling him a two-time world champion and Olympic gold medalist, while saying they’re both here “to fight.”
