Forget Tom Hanks' 'Greyhound,' Netflix's New 8-Part War Thriller Arrives This December

Netflix is gearing up for the December 1 release of Trinity, an eight-episode war thriller starring Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Richard Madden. The series follows a heroic naval officer who gets pulled into a conflict with an outwardly charismatic secretary of defense, only to find he may be at the center of a deadly conspiracy. The show is written and created by Jed Mercurio, known for Bodyguard and Line. Netflix positions Trinity as a must-watch for fans of Tom Hanks’ 2020 Apple TV movie Greyhound. The announcement comes as Netflix’s 2026 lineup continues setting streaming records.
