Great concerts coming to Eastern Mass. suburbs in fall 2026

Fall 2026 brings a run of notable concerts to Boston’s suburbs, spanning North Shore, South Shore, South Coast, Merrimack Valley, and Metro West from September through November. The list highlights Brad Mehldau’s only East Coast stop in Massachusetts at Groton Hill on Wednesday, Sept. 2, backed by a 17-piece “A Far Cry” chamber orchestra. ZZ Top will appear at Lynn Auditorium on Wednesday, Sept. 9, with Billy Gibbons supported by Elwood Francis and Michael Monahan after Dusty Hill’s death in 2021 and Frank Beard’s passing earlier this month. Other stops include Emerson, Lake & Palmer’s “Welcome Back My Friends” at The Cabot on Saturday, Sept. 12, and more shows through late September and beyond.
