Head to Attitash and environs for Oktoberfest food, music, and more

Attitash Mountain Resort in Bartlett, New Hampshire, is set to host its annual Oktoberfest on Oct. 10, positioning the event inside a foliage-rich autumn landscape overlooking the Presidential Range. The celebration runs all day with multiple bands, while the venue’s “Kinderplatz” offers kids’ activities such as pretzel necklace making and face painting, plus themed games including “paint a snowcat” and pumpkin bowling. Adults can take part in events like keg toss and stein-holding competitions. The resort also features German-inspired food alongside food trucks, and a Biergarten menu with more than 20 beer and beverage options, plus wine and cider. Nearby Mount Washington Valley adds hiking, dining and golf, with suggestions including Jackson Falls.
