Hear Christmas movie music by candlelight in magical surroundings

London Concertante will bring a series of candlelight performances to Cardiff this season, with Christmas at the Movies at Llandaff Cathedral scheduled for December 11. The concert will feature music tied to well-known Christmas films such as Home Alone, Elf, Love Actually, It’s a Wonderful Life, and The Polar Express. It’s one of five candlelit events planned across the season in two historic Welsh venues. The season begins October 2 with A Night At The Opera at Llandaff Cathedral, followed by The Four Seasons and The Lark Ascending by Candlelight on November 7 at St John the Baptist City Parish Church. On December 1, there are two candlelight concerts including a live big band and a Michael Bublé tribute act. The series ends January 1 with Moonlight Sonata by Candlelight and a Viennese Christmas Spectacular.
