The fan, who identified himself as Karson on social media, was dressed as Duff’s Casper Meets Wendy character, then spun once before putting her down, according to a TikTok he posted. Karson later apologized, saying he hadn’t meant to raise concerns for her security team, and added that part of the moment was a blur due to excitement.
