Actress Parineeti Chopra criticized social media users who troll women over postpartum weight gain, saying the comments are “uneducated” and driven by attention-seeking. Speaking to PTI, she defended her fellow actress Katrina Kaif, who faced online harassment after giving birth to her son. Chopra argued that physical changes after pregnancy shouldn’t be treated as something negative, comparing it to everyday changes like haircuts, tans from vacations, or abs built through gym work. She said the “evidence” of creating a human life should be celebrated instead of mocked. Chopra also said she stays off social media after welcoming her son in October last year. Salman Khan recently joined the criticism of the trolling.
