Illinois woman gets orange soda from gas station soda fountain. Then she sees what else came with it: 'Imagine you got a Coke'

A musician from Illinois, Shay (@shayshontez.music), shared a video after she says she found unidentified specks floating in an orange fountain drink at a gas station. Instead of drinking, she filmed the cup and the fountain nozzles, including prices listed near the machine. Viewers speculated the specks could be insects—such as ants—coming from syrup lines or the nozzle, though Shay did not identify what they were and said she noticed them before taking the first sip. The clip has drawn more than 57,000 views. The story also discusses Illinois’ food sanitation framework, which places oversight with local health departments.
