Inside country legend Alan Jackson's triumphant finale concert
Inside country legend Alan Jackson's triumphant finale concert marked the end of the touring career of the veteran country star at Nissan Stadium in Nashville on Saturday night. The event, titled Last Call: One More for the Road—The Finale, featured a two-part format after a roughly one-hour storm delay, with Jackson taking the stage at about 9:35 p.m. The 67-year-old Georgia native has sold more than 60 million records and was honored by artists he influenced, including Carrie Underwood, Thomas Rhett, Miranda Lambert, Lainey Wilson, Luke Combs and Eric Church, plus Luke Bryan, Riley Green and others. One dollar per ticket supported the CMT Research Foundation for Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, which Jackson said was first diagnosed a decade ago. Jackson opened with Gone Country and later addressed the crowd.
