Israeli Occupation Escalates Attacks on Southern Lebanon as Ceasefire Violations Continue - Al-Manar TV Lebanon
Al-Manar TV Lebanon reports that Israeli forces intensified attacks on southern Lebanon on Tuesday, continuing alleged ceasefire violations despite Lebanon’s commitment to the agreement. The outlet’s correspondent described artillery shelling, machine-gun fire, military movements and other hostile operations between midnight and Tuesday morning. Reported artillery strikes hit the Khiam Plain and areas around the border town toward Ebel Al-Saqi, as well as Wadi Al-Hujair, Wadi Zibqin, Al-Mansouri and Sarbin. Haddatha was also struck by shells fired from a Merkava tank, according to the report, and machine-gun sweeps were carried out toward Khiam, Haddatha, Taybeh and Al-Mansouri. The account also cites an aircraft releasing a sound bomb over Al-Mansouri and fires set in Zawtar Al-Sharqiya, plus illuminating shells over Ali Al-Taher and Doha Kfar Rumman.
