It's Officially the End of an Era for Jason Statham

Jason Statham’s streak as a dependable action box-office draw is wobbling, with recent results underscoring “the end of an era” for the star’s momentum. While The Meg ($529.4 million worldwide) and sequels like Meg 2 ($398.5 million) and Fast X ($704.9 million) still showed broad appeal, The Expendables 4 marked his biggest recent flop. Reported at a $100 million budget, it earned $37.9 million at the box office (some outlets suggest up to $51 million). After Ensemble disappointment, Statham’s solo follow-ups struggled: Shelter and Mutiny didn’t recoup costs, with Mutiny’s pre-release online leak adding pressure.
