Jared Leto sexual misconduct allegations: multiple women speak out

Jared Leto faces multiple allegations of criminal sexual misconduct, according to a new BBC documentary, Jared Leto: Hollywood's Dark Secret. The report says four women accused him of separate incidents involving ages ranging from 16 to 19. One woman claims she was sexually assaulted by Leto in a motel at 17. Another alleges she was 17 when she had sex with him in California, where the age of consent is 18, and says he dismissed concerns when the topic was raised. A third woman claims Leto threatened her with sexual assault after she was left alone with him in a hotel room when she was 19. The documentary also includes an allegation that Leto groomed a 16-year-old using his celebrity to make sexually explicit calls. Newsweek says it reached out to Leto by email for comment.
