JEFF CORWIN RETURNS TO NATIONAL TELEVISION FOR NEW SERIES

Emmy-winning conservationist Jeff Corwin returns to national TV with Jeff Corwin's Southern Wild, a new wildlife conservation series debuting Saturday, October 3. The show will air weekend mornings on ABC stations nationwide as part of the Weekend Adventure E/I block, with times varying by market. Produced by Hearst Media Production Group in partnership with Lees-McRae College, it was filmed across North Carolina, from the Appalachian Mountains to the Atlantic coast. Corwin will explore wildlife and conservation efforts, including searches for bats and salamanders, encounters with black bears, alligators and sea turtles, and coverage of rescue work. The series includes scientists and Lees-McRae students.
