Jalen Brunson described the intense week that leads up to hosting Saturday Night Live, calling the schedule exhausting even before considering the demands of being a regular cast member. After Season 52 began with Brunson hosting the premiere, the NBA champion discussed his experience on The Roommates Show on YouTube. He said the work starts days earlier: sketches are written, rewritten and rehearsed, while costume fittings and set construction are handled in parallel. Brunson also noted how he closed out his time on Friday and then filmed the episode, alongside training camp.
