Late Queen's cousins turn out in memory of Duchess of Kent

A London concert on Sunday evening paid tribute to the late Duchess of Kent, highlighting royal relatives from her generation and the music-focused charity Future Talent she co-founded. The event at Sinfonia Smith Square, hosted by Alexander Armstrong, brought out the Duchess’s husband, the 90-year-old Duke of Kent, supported by his brother, Prince Michael of Kent, 84. Among other attendees were the Duchess’s daughter Lady Helen Taylor and her husband Timothy Taylor, Lord Freddy Windsor and his wife Sophie Winkleman, and the newly married Lady Marina Windsor. Performances by more than 40 young musicians and alumni included the Future Talent Orchestra. The program featured works and world premieres by award recipients Laura, 15, and Kassa, 17. The Duchess died aged 92 in September; her funeral at Westminster Cathedral was the first modern Royal Catholic funeral in Britain and she left £10,000 in her will to Future Talent.
