Laughed when I heard him' -- Shatta Wale responds to Fameye over 'Top 3' comment

Ghanaian dancehall star Shatta Wale has responded to singer Fameye after the latter urged the country’s music scene not to be narrowed to talk about only the “Top 3” artists. Fameye, who called for broader attention to other performers, said many talents deserve recognition and media exposure. Shatta Wale said he found Fameye’s position amusing, arguing that success is not just about media support, but about how an artiste builds and maintains relationships with fans. He said he brands himself as an ordinary Ghanaian, stays accessible, and communicates directly, adding that distancing from supporters can weaken a fan base.
