London Fashion Week latest: Alexander McQueen, Christopher Kane's Mulberry and Simone Rocha

London Fashion Week’s spring/summer 2027 calendar continued with a run of shows spanning emerging labels and established names. Talia Byre opened the weekend on Saturday, offering a first look at her Topshop line alongside the Talia Byre brand, launching via Topshop’s website in late October. The collaboration included leather slip-on brogues, knee-high wedge-heeled boots, halter-neck dresses, and low-rise flared trousers. Patrick McDowell’s “Love” drew from Wong Kar-wai’s In the Mood for Love, and the 1960s socialites Lee Radziwill and Jackie Kennedy. John Richmond leaned into punk sensibilities in a basement venue in St Martin-in-the-Fields. Other highlights included Ahluwalia’s bold hues and fringe at Somerset House for Toga, Knwls’ collections inspired by Bettina Rheims’s Chambre Close, Chopova Lowena’s Slavic folklore theme in a London bowling alley, and Simone Rocha’s Sunday show in the marble halls of London’s Central Criminal Court, inspired by Caravaggio’s The Taking of Christ.
