NBC's 'Chicago P.D.' Finally Hits Netflix, But There's a Catch
NBC’s Chicago P.D. is set to debut on Netflix for the first time, but the move comes with a key limitation for where viewers can watch. The series, part of NBC’s long-running One Chicago franchise with Chicago Fire and Chicago Med, has already been streaming on Peacock, with new episodes added there. Beyond that, earlier seasons have been licensed to other platforms, including Prime Video, where international audiences have been able to watch Chicago P.D. A report says Netflix will receive Chicago P.D. on August 1, exclusively for international viewers. The specific seasons were not disclosed, but past licensing suggests Netflix could roll out early seasons in batches. That would allow audiences to trace the Intelligence Unit’s evolution starting in 2014.
