Netflix adds a Christopher Nolan crime thriller with a complex narrative twist, making “Memento” available for streaming starting today. The film debuted recently with a Fresh score of 94% on Rotten Tomatoes based on 185 reviews. “Memento,” a 2001 R-rated neo-noir psychological thriller, stars Guy Pearce as Leonard Shelby, an insurance investigator who cannot form new memories after an attack on him and his wife. The cast also includes Carrie-Anne Moss as Natalie, Joe Pantoliano as Teddy, Mark Boone Junior as Burt, Jorja Fox as Catherine, and Stephen Tobolowsky as Sammy. The movie received two Academy Award nominations for Best Original Screenplay and Best Film Editing. Nolan wrote and directed it, adapting it from a short story by his brother and frequent collaborator Jonathan Nolan, with Jennifer Todd and Suzanne Todd producing.
