Netflix's Biggest Fantasy Series Ever Faces Shock Season 3 Setback
Wednesday, Netflix’s biggest fantasy series, is facing a production disruption that could extend the wait for Season 3. The Addams Family spinoff debuted in late 2022, became a global hit, and was quickly renewed for Season 2, which premiered in mid-2025. After the Season 2 finale set up major story threads—Tyler’s hinted return, Enid’s ongoing quest, and the arrival of Aunt Ophelia—star Hunter Doohan confirmed in January that Season 3 production had begun. However, filming reportedly halted in Dublin, Ireland, after actress Eva Green injured her leg earlier this month. Production was rearranged to allow for hospital treatment and recovery. The delay also places additional pressure on schedules in a competitive streaming landscape that includes Prime Video and Apple TV+.
