Nexstar's Michigan Television Stations to Air Exclusive Live Debates Between Candidates for Governor and U.S. Senate

Nexstar Media Group says its Michigan stations will broadcast two exclusive live, multi-market debates covering races for governor and U.S. Senate. The initiative, titled “Debate Week in Michigan,” will air the gubernatorial debate on Oct. 6 from 7 to 8 p.m. ET and the Senate debate on Oct. 8 from 7 to 8 p.m. ET. Both events will be held at the studios of WOOD-TV in Grand Rapids. Nexstar said the coverage will be streamed across its television stations serving Michigan, giving viewers in multiple markets access to the discussions at those scheduled times.
