A community kickoff is underway with the “PHOTO: Symphony Seat Stakeout” event tied to Louisville Orchestra’s opening night of its 2026 In Harmony Tour. Concertgoers began claiming spots early Thursday morning, even though music would not start until 7:30 p.m. By 8:30 a.m., folding camp chairs lined the newly terraced east lawn of the Barren County Courthouse as Glasgow prepared to welcome the orchestra. The free outdoor concert takes place in front of Glasgow City Hall and marks the tour’s first performance night in the area. Elizabeth Eittiene, an orchestra representative, said Glasgow is a favored stop due to strong community turnout. The In Harmony Tour is supported by state funding and brings free orchestral events across Kentucky. Glasgow also becomes the first stop for the Frazier Kentucky History Museum’s traveling “120: Cool KY Counties” exhibit. Traffic around the square closes in phases on Thursday: east side 11 a.m., north side 3 p.m., and south side 5 p.m.
