Queen musical coming to Troon Town Hall later this year

Loudoun Musical Society will stage We Will Rock You, the Queen-hit musical, at Troon Town Hall from September 9-12 as part of its 50th anniversary celebrations. The production, directed by David McIlwraith, is set in a future where live music is banned, following a group of young rebels who fight to bring rock back. It includes 24 Queen songs, among them Bohemian Rhapsody, Radio Ga Ga and We Are the Champions. Performances run nightly at 7pm, with a Saturday matinee at 2pm. A British Sign Language interpreter will be present for the matinee. The show has moved from LMS’s usual venue, the Palace Theatre in Kilmarnock, due to ongoing renovations, and ticket buyers are advised to note the change.
