Rod Stewart says he's not retiring, but final tour will be his last: 'IT'S GOING TO BE GREAT!'
Rod Stewart says he’s not retiring from music, but his upcoming The Final Encore tour will be his last. The 81-year-old announced Monday that after more than six decades performing worldwide, the next tour marks his farewell “to life on the road,” while he told fans to join him for “one hell of a show.” In an Instagram video, Stewart reiterated that he’s “not retiring” and that it will be his final rock-and-roll tour “for ever, ever.” The tour is set to begin in Europe, with dates in Dublin, Belfast and Glasgow in April 2027, then Birmingham, Manchester and London in May. The plan follows cancellations tied to heart-related treatment and other illnesses in 2024, including a Las Vegas residency show and a San Diego concert called off less than an hour before start.
