Rosalía doesn't travel light, and her shoes are anything but ordinary
Rosalía was spotted in New York City carrying a dramatic custom leather bag and wearing ballet shoes that push the flat into “platform” territory. The oversized bag, designed by independent creator Dana Toder, measures about one meter long and 60 centimeters high. It was originally made for Lili Conzen’s upcoming short film “Krähe,” which centers on women over 70 in leading roles, and features printed archival photographs from the 1970s to today, reflecting how personal belongings hold memories and emotions. The bag is made with help from Toder’s 80-year-old leatherworking mentor, Shmulik. For footwear, Rosalía opted for pale pink satin ballet platforms from Junko Shimada’s spring 2009 collection—crisscross ankle ribbons, exaggerated black platforms and transparent heels, previously worn by Lady Gaga in 2009. Her outfit stayed simple with a black tank minidress and oversized black sunglasses.
