Southern Chicken Chain Zaxbys Brings its Famous Fingerz & Sauces to New York with Two Restaurant Openings This Summer

Zaxby’s, the Atlanta-founded chicken chain, is opening its first New York restaurants this summer as part of a national expansion that has already reached 24 states. The company said it will debut two locations, one in the Bronx and one in Manhattan, bringing its Famous Fingerz and 12 signature sauces to the market. The Bronx restaurant opened June 29 at 3260 Boston Road, with a soft opening that drew long lines, according to the release. At roughly 2,000 square feet, it seats 15 guests and offers dine-in and drive-thru service, with ordering ahead available via Zaxbys.com or the Zax Rewards app. Later this summer, the chain will open an Upper East Side Manhattan restaurant at 1267 First Avenue. That site will cover 2,800+ square feet with 16 dine-in seats and ordering kiosks, with more details to be announced closer to the opening date.
