Stardew Valley, Project Zomboid Collide In New Zombie RPG

A new Steam announcement blends farming life and zombie survival with Ashfield Hollow, a zombie RPG described as bringing together real-time combat, base-building, and agriculture. The game is set to arrive on Steam in “Q1 2027,” but a free demo is available now and offers roughly 10 hours of gameplay. The story centers on waking up 10 years after a mysterious outbreak at Camp Ashfield, with no memory of the past. Players face zombies and hostile survivors through melee and ranged combat, plus dash dodging, while also foraging, fishing, farming, and raising animals. Relationships with allied survivors feature personal missions and storylines, and players can explore towns, cities, forests, and sewers.
