Sylvan Esso announce new LP 'Ow ∞,' share "Concrete Glen"

Sylvan Esso is starting a new album cycle with Ow ∞, announced as the follow-up to 2022’s No Rules Sandy. The record is scheduled for release on September 11 via Psychic Hotline, after the duo issued “Hot Slob,” its first new music of the year, last month. Amelia Meath and Nick Sanborn produced the album themselves, with contributions credited to Daniel Aged, BJ Burton, Matt Douglas, Glenn Kotche, Jake Luppen, TJ Maiani, James Mapley-Brittle, Buddy Ross, Jenn Wasner and Joe Westerlund. A second single, “Concrete Glen,” was shared and includes a sample of Sigur Rós’ “Svefn-g-englar.” Ow ∞ will be supported by fall tour dates beginning in October, including an NYC stop at Brooklyn Paramount on October 14, plus album listening events on September 3 across multiple cities.
