T-Birds blow by Bobcats in convincing fashion

Tumwater opened EvCo division play with a 62-7 rout of Aberdeen at Stewart Field, turning the game into a one-sided display in which all three phases clicked. The Thunderbirds scored 48 points in the first half and piled on with rushing touchdowns from Cam Briscoe (3 yards and a TD), Grady Wall (two TDs, including 38 yards), Gavin Kaikkonen (36-yard TD), and Joey Haase (43-yard TD). Jake Reid went 3-for-3 for 107 yards and every completion resulted in a touchdown. Ethan Bello added a scoop-and-score. Defensively, Wall, Ethan Marson, and Finn Bracy each recorded a tackle for loss. Tumwater improved to 7-0 (1-0 EvCo) and will host Black Hills next week in the Pioneer Bowl.
