Taylor Sheridan’s Mayor of Kingstown is set to leave Paramount+ for the first time ever, landing on Netflix starting October 5. The crime thriller debuted in 2021 and stars Jeremy Renner as Mike McLusky, who serves as a “mayor” figure in a community where the prison system drives the local economy. The series also features Dianne Wiest, Hugh Dillon, Emma Laird, Kyle Chandler and Edie Falco. It’s Sheridan’s highest-rated TV show with viewers, posting an 84% audience score—despite a 64% Rotten Tomatoes critics rating. Netflix will carry multiple seasons in U.S. and international markets.
