Jimmy Kimmel cut short his TV vacation to troll Sen. Mitch McConnell again after the senator’s latest health update. McConnell said he has not yet been “medically cleared” to leave a rehabilitation facility and return to work more than six weeks after being hospitalized for a fall and a “mild case of pneumonia.” Posting on Instagram, Kimmel shared a doctored image with his own face edited onto McConnell’s wife Elaine Chao’s body, alongside the caption that he and McConnell feel better and are “still technically alive every day.” The new “proof of life” comes amid speculation, as Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear urged officials to provide proof of McConnell’s capacity to serve or resign.
