In 1981, Gary Numan attempted a round-the-world trip in a single-engine Cessna, but was forced to land in India where police arrested him. In 1993, Meat Loaf reached No. 1 on the UK album chart for the first time of five with Bat Out of Hell II. In 2006, Willie Nelson and band members were charged after police found marijuana and magic mushrooms on his tour bus near Lafayette, Louisiana. The same year, Echo and the Bunnymen’s Ian McCulloch was convicted for a breach of the peace involving fans.
