Tucker Wetmore Has An Unexpected Friendship With Gary Allan

Tucker Wetmore says he’s developed an unexpected friendship with Gary Allan, a veteran country artist from an earlier generation. Wetmore recently shared on Country Countdown USA that he and Allan have spent significant time together, including a seven-day boat trip and time celebrating the Fourth of July at Allan’s home. He also said he spent a night at Allan’s house with Allan and his wife, Molly, and that hearing Allan’s stories has been part of the appeal. Wetmore, 26, is about 32 years younger than Allan, who is 58. He added that his next full-length project is leaning toward a traditional country sound, drawing inspiration from the ’70s and ’80s and aiming for something familiar yet new.
