VodafoneThree launches upgraded 5G service available at extra charge

VodafoneThree has launched an upgraded 5G service, branded SuperMobile, but it comes with an extra monthly fee. The company says the tier delivers speeds up to four times faster than its standard plans and guarantees minimum speeds of 15 Mbps, positioning it as a first for the industry. Customers can leave their contracts early without penalty if the service falls short. Pricing varies: Vodafone contract users pay an additional £3 per month versus Vodafone full-speed Xtra plans; SIM-only 100Mbps plans add £8; handset 100Mbps plans add £4; and there is also a £12 rolling monthly add-on option. SuperMobile uses network “slicing” to provide a dedicated 5G+ FastTrack in busy areas, while other users won’t be deprioritised.
