xCruzo Brief
The Chicago White Sox may not be in the World Series, but their TV numbers have surged after a surprising playoff run. Chicago Sports Network (CHSN) says Sox viewership hit its highest level since 2022, before the team launched its in-house network. Games averaged 84,800 viewers across all platforms, up 168% year over year—the largest jump among MLB teams, according to CHSN. As the Sox approached the postseason, audiences climbed: August and September averaged 112,000 viewers, 78% higher than March through May, and streaming grew fivefold. The most-watched game was Aug. 17’s Crosstown Series vs. the Cubs (245,900 viewers).
