Richard Osman says he has heard Jack Lowden is the name being considered for the next James Bond. Speaking on The Rest is Entertainment on Tuesday, the former Pointless host said an insider told him “for definite” who the next 007 will be, adding, “The name I’ve heard is Jack Lowden.” The claim comes as Amazon MGM Studios announced Denis Villeneuve will direct a new Bond film, but has not named a replacement for Daniel Craig, who exited after No Time to Die in 2021. Osman stressed Lowden is “strongly considered” rather than confirmed, noting the 36-year-old has appeared in films including Tornado, The Outrun, Mary Queen of Scots and Dunkirk.
