WWE star 'focused on Hollywood Drew' as fans await the former champion's return to the ring

Drew McIntyre, the former Undisputed WWE Champion, has not competed since his WrestleMania 42 street fight with Jacob Fatu, now nearly six months ago. While fans wait for his return, McIntyre has been working on other projects, including “Agent of Shadows,” a micro-drama series featuring McIntyre, actor Chase Mattson and other WWE superstars. The series is set to drop Oct. 23. In a recent interview with OutKick Dropkick, McIntyre said he’s at 285 pounds—10 pounds heavier than when filming the show—and “always ready,” though he added he’s “focused on Hollywood Drew.” His next WWE brand remains unclear; reports have suggested Raw, while SmackDown currently features Sami Zayn and a crowded title landscape.
