Yaga' and 8 More Shows to Watch on TV This Week

Oct. 19–25 brings a mix of new series and returning favorites across streaming and cable. On Hulu, Connie Britton and Sam Nivola headline the dark comedy “Phony,” which begins Tuesday with its first two episodes; the premise centers on a Capgras-syndrome-like fear that an impostor is replacing a loved one. Netflix debuts the third season of “Nobody Wants This” Thursday, releasing all 10 episodes as Kristen Bell and Adam Brody’s characters move in and Joanne begins converting to Judaism. AMC+ launches Friday “Yaga,” set in a Canadian coastal town as a detective investigates a fishery heir’s death. Bravo at 9 p.m. and E! at 10 p.m. highlight “Vanderpump Rules: Lisa Las Vegas” and “The Golden Life.”
