BTS Stopped From Hitting No. 1 Again By The World Cup Anthem

BTS missed another potential chart milestone as “Normal” fell short of a ninth Billboard Global Excl. U.S. No. 1, debuting at No. 2 after jumping from No. 156 to its peak. The second single from the “Arirang” era was blocked at the top by Shakira and Burna Boy’s “Dai Dai.” Even without the No. 1, “Normal” became BTS’s 22nd top-10 hit on the worldwide chart and returned to the Billboard Global 200 at a new high of No. 4. It also came back on the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 33. BTS previously topped both global rankings with “Swim.”
