Concurrence Appoints Dr. Hythem Sidky, Former Lead of the NIH National Clinical Cohort Collaborative, as Head of Applied AI

Concurrence appointed Hythem Sidky, PhD, as Head of Applied AI, effective October 12, to lead how the company’s data foundations and AI move into production within enterprise healthcare organizations. The company’s founder Ali Khokhar said Sidky is rare in having built clinical data and AI across a private health system, a pharmaceutical company and a national public health program. Sidky previously led the NIH’s National Clinical Cohort Collaborative (N3C), which covers more than 23 million patients, and later directed solutions engineering at Verily, securing a multi-million-dollar ARPA-H award for the CIRCLE critical care initiative. He has also held roles at AstraZeneca and Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group. Sidky has a PhD from the University of Notre Dame and has co-authored 30+ peer-reviewed publications.
