A judge has ruled that prosecutors in Florida DUI proceedings involving golfer Tiger Woods may review relevant hospital records from a crash in March. In Martin County circuit court, just north of Palm Beach County, Judge Darren Steele approved an agreement between Woods’ defense attorney and the State Attorney’s Office allowing prosecutors to request records from Cleveland Clinic Martin South Hospital, where Woods was taken after the March 27 incident. The judge also signed off on a prior May agreement granting access to prescription medication records at a Palm Beach pharmacy covering the period from the start of the year through the end of March. Prosecutors agreed to a protective order proposed by defense attorney Doug Duncan to limit disclosure to prosecutors, law enforcement, state experts, and Woods’ defense team. Woods pleaded not guilty. Authorities said deputies found two pain pills in his pocket after his SUV clipped a truck’s trailer and rolled onto its side, and that he agreed to a Breathalyzer but refused a urine test.
