Meet the 9 Georgians wealthy enough for the Forbes 400

Nine Georgians made the Forbes 400 this year, clearing a record-low entry point of $4.4 billion in net worth. Together, they’re estimated to be worth $66.9 billion, a combined figure tied largely to Georgia industries including Chick-fil-A, Rollins and Home Depot. Home Depot co-founder and Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank tops the state list with $13.2 billion, ranked No. 99 nationally. Three members of the Cathy family—Bubba Cathy, Dan Cathy and Trudy Cathy White—each hold an estimated $12 billion and are listed at No. 116. Other Georgians on the list include Jim Kennedy ($7.6B), John Brown ($6.9B), Gary Rollins ($5.8B) and Mailchimp co-founders Dan Kurzius ($5.6B) and Ben Chestnut ($5B).
