Nyxoah's Genio® Wins Prix Galien UK 2026 Award for Best Medical Technology

Nyxoah announced on June 15, 2026, from Mont-Saint-Guibert, Belgium, that Genio, its lead hypoglossal nerve stimulation therapy for obstructive sleep apnea, won the Prix Galien UK 2026 Award for Best Medical Technology in London. The Prix Galien is widely regarded as a top healthcare innovation honor, recognizing technologies that improve patient care and outcomes. Nyxoah credited engineers, its UK team and clinicians for the achievement, and emphasized Genio’s potential to reduce cardiovascular risk and improve quality of life for patients with OSA. Momentum continues as the company moves beyond FDA clearance and a U.S. commercial launch, supported by new financing to accelerate its U.S. expansion. Genio received European CE Mark in 2019, and Nyxoah later completed two IPOs, on Euronext Brussels in September 2020 and on NASDAQ in July 2021.
