A subgroup analysis of the phase 3 RASolute 302 trial presented at the ESMO Congress suggests daraxonrasib improves survival versus standard chemotherapy in previously treated metastatic pancreatic cancer, and the advantage appears consistent across different RAS mutation types. In the earlier topline results, patients taking daraxonrasib lived a median of 13.2 months versus 6.7 months with standard chemotherapy. The new analyses were designed to test whether that benefit was restricted to specific molecular subsets or particular chemotherapy comparisons. Pancreatic cancers frequently carry RAS mutations, and daraxonrasib is an oral therapy intended to block multiple active forms of the RAS protein. The update also reports consistent benefit even when no RAS mutation is identified.
