Popsa, a London-based photo curation platform, analyzed three million photos taken in 2025 to rank France’s most photographed beaches for 2026. Using an index score based on the volume of images shot at different locations, it sidestepped opinion-based lists and instead relied on traveler behavior. Cannes’ Plage de la Croisette topped the ranking with a score of 100, while Pampelonne on the Saint-Tropez peninsula took second with 86. Corsica’s Plage de Palombaggia placed 10th with 54 points. The survey highlighted strong visibility for beaches on the northern Channel coast, often overlooked versus the Riviera and the Atlantic. Popsa described the analysis as anonymous aggregate data, reflecting what real visitors capture.
