Three taken to hospital following multiple-vehicle crash on Kent A299

Three people were taken to hospital after a multi-vehicle crash on the A299 Thanet Way in Minster on Monday afternoon, August 10, at around 12:30pm. Police said officers responded after reports of a road traffic collision involving multiple vehicles. Paramedics from South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) and the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service, along with Kent Fire and Rescue Service, attended the scene. A SECAmb spokesperson said crews assessed and treated three patients before being joined by The Air Ambulance Charity, Kent Surrey Sussex. One patient was airlifted to a London hospital and the other two were taken to a local facility. Kent Police said both sides of the carriageway had been closed but have now reopened.
