Woman Taken To Hospital After Vehicle Runs Off Indian Head Highway

A woman was taken to the hospital after her vehicle ran off Indian Head Highway near the 6100 block in Maryland early Friday morning. The crash was reported at about 12:18 a.m. on Sept. 25, 2026. A caller said the vehicle passed them at a high rate of speed before leaving the roadway and crashing. First responders found a 72-year-old woman alert and breathing, though she appeared confused. She was transported by ambulance to University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center with injuries described as non-life-threatening. The incident remains under investigation.
