The New York Times says negotiations with Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling and director Greta Gerwig haven’t produced an agreement, with CEO David Zaslav resisting contracts that include profit participation. Gosling, who received an Oscar nomination for playing Ken, is reportedly seeking a salary increase to $20 million. The studio didn’t lock the cast into sequel deals before the original’s $1.4 billion box-office run, so major participants can renegotiate.
