Bayern Munich draws Hertha Berlin in DFB-Pokal Round of 16

Bayern Munich will host Hertha BSC at the Allianz Arena on December 1 or 2 after being drawn against the defending champions in the DFB-Pokal Round of 16. On paper, it’s a favorable matchup for the Bavarians: they avoid another Bundesliga heavyweight and get home advantage against a second-division side. But Hertha, which leads the 2. Bundesliga, is aiming for a return to the top flight and can’t be dismissed. Bayern are clear favorites, yet will need a serious approach to keep their cup title defense on track. Other highlights include Eintracht Frankfurt vs Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen vs RB Leipzig.
